dated November, 22nd, about making copies of the Advisory Committee's Report on the University available to various individuals whom you named and arranging for further copies to be sent to you in Hong Kong.

I put the matter up at the time because, as you know, the feeling here was that distribution of the Report should be very limited. Unfortunately my minute was not considered because the file has been in almost constant circulation since that date in connection with the Secretary of State's correspondence with Mr. Bevin or in connection with getting out ode or other of the memoranda that have been required. The file is at last available without any other

urgent action required on it for the moment and I have therefore again drawn attention to your request for copies of the Report. Mr. Seel has written to Sir Mark Young about this and he nd doubt will consult you.

In case you do not remember I enclose a copy' of your letter of November 22nd. Of the three members of the University staff whom you mentioned, Professor Ride I understand is now on his way to
